A 5,280 foot vertical climbing challenge for teams of two.

Individuals or teams of two commit to climb a vertical mile and raise funds for Paradox Sports.

FAQs

  • Anyone motivated to climb and fundraise for Paradox is welcome to join!

    Individuals are welcome - or start a team of two climbers to combine climbs and qualify for the vertical mile.

  • Any climbing you do can count toward your vertical mile.

    Climb any combination of routes indoors, outside, on your home wall. Just be honest and keep track on the free journal we provide. When you complete your Mile, turn in your tracking sheet at Ascent New Haven (before 7/1).

    All climbs at Ascent New Haven will be counted as 15ft.

    ~ 63 climbs a Ragged Mountain

    ~ 1.76 laps on the Dawn Wall

  • Simple. Keep track of your climbs on the printed tracking sheet we provide, or print your own [link].

    Refer to guidebooks for outdoor heights - or give it your best honest guess.

    When your mile is complete, turn in your form to the front desk at Ascent New Haven.

  • We’re asking folks to commit to raising $100 or more toward our gym goal of $5,280.

    The more you fundraise, the more awesome prizes you can earn!

  • Everyone (or team of two) who completes a vertical mile & raises at least $100 by July 1, 2024 will earn a free Paradox Mile Finisher t-shirt.

    Note: Teams of 2 will have a fundraising goal of $200.
