The day has finally come when we can share the future location of Ascent Climbing Gym!
Starting June 1, 2023, our team will begin to redevelop space occupied by District Athletic Club. DAC is already a vibrant and diverse fitness community, so we’re excited to blend our bouldering gym with their expertise in yoga, personal training, and group fitness programming.

District NHV is a former CTtransit bus depot converted into a 100,000+ sqft tech and innovation campus in the heart of New Haven. The facility features modern office space, co-work facilities, video/audio studios, maker spaces, a bbq smokehouse restaurant, a brewery, an outdoor amphitheater, and gathering space.
Right out our front door, you’ll be able to hike the Mill River Trail toward East Rock or grab a bite and a beer at Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ on their dog-friendly outdoor patio, or relax on the park-like grass outside.
Convenient Location
Ascent is easily accessible from I-91 (exit 5), or walkable/bikeable via State Street and the Mill River Trail from the nearby East Rock neighborhood. Guests will find plenty of free parking and bike racks on-site.
